Megan and I took a few days to go see a couple of our close friends that live in Ohio not too long ago, and during our trip I really had a lot of time to relax and think about life. As we draw close to the end of 2010, I think this is a pretty natural thing for people; we tend to look at our life, look back on the year and reflect on what we have and have not done. Then we think about what we want to do in the year to come. It’s an instance where we look at the calendar and decide to make a considerable change in our lives.
As you undoubtedly do this again this year, let’s take a look at our spiritual lives and see what needs to change. Obviously this is something that we should do everyday, but all to often we fall right back into the same routine of sin day after day. As this year comes to a close, let’s take this opportunity to truly change, grow and mature into the person God created us to be in God’s Kingdom. – Ephesians 4:14-15
